Bring the Brix
How many times have we thought- I wish i could have a piece of this. Ofcourse when its
chocolate cake all it takes for your fantasy to come true is to befriend the birthday girl/boy or make up a story by virtue of which the last remaining shred of hope for your mere existance is that one piece of this cake, but when it come to technology things may just get a bit tricky... unless your recently developed cloning machine is activated with a push of A button.
Brix, a novel concept in television and tele-talk! Each phone is a separate screen that can join to another Brix to form a bigger phone and a bigger screen! Imagine all your classmates having this little baby- 40 of them and its surround sound, dolby digital paravision experience in the breaktime heh!

Experience Design
The Cloud - from mitmobileexperiencelab on Vimeo.
An organic sculptural landmark that responds to human interaction and expresses context awareness using hundreds of sensors and over 15,000 individually addressable optical fibers. constructed of carbon glass, spanning over four meters, and containing more than 65 kilometers of fiber optics, the cloud encourages visitors to touch and interact with information in new ways, manifesting emotions and behavior through sound and a dichotomy of luminescence and darkness.
Neat eh? If nothing else the changing forms and colours at presence and the sense of touch can be ideas that can definitely be taken forth. Come to think of it any design that requires the user to creatively tackle the object makes the object cherishable. Aint it? A new way to tackle sustainability?? One wonders...
