I am still deciding whether to make this into a tag or an entry coz this guy's work is quite - Intriguing!
Chris Jordan - Best known for his work depicting consumerism in the United States, looks at little plastic things and electronic goodies used in everyday life that we cannot possibly recycle to the fullest in un-uttered numbers and depicts it through his photographic skills. Throwing vanity away to the streets here is an image depicting 32,000 Barbies, equal to the number of 'elective breast augmentation surgeries' performed monthly in the US in 2006.
Depicts 200,000 packs of cigarettes, equal to the number of Americans who die from cigarette smoking every six months.
We need people like him to get us back to ground reality!
